Morimura on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, August 23rd , 2077 27-year-old Rachel Morimura sent shock waves through Pro Baseball Experience last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Legends Conference Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Morimura made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .464 average, 13 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 runs batted in. Where the Outer Banks Aviators first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Morimura certainly made his mark last week. Batting .247 to date, Morimura has 22 home runs and 65 RBIs. |
