Laramie Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, September 13th , 2077 San Antonio fans have something to crow about today as San Antonio designated hitter Stetson Laramie nabbed the Legends Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Laramie. He posted a .500 average (10-for-20) this past week with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. During the current season Laramie is batting at a .257 clip with 25 home runs and 61 RBIs. He has played in 105 games and scored 62 times. |
