Wild Card Clinched by Death Valley Thursday, September 16th , 2077 The Death Valley Scorpions clubhouse was filled with loud music and revelry late into the night, as the team celebrated a Champions Conference wild card position. The team, whose record stands at 54-54, battled throughout the year, but ultimately saw the quest for the playoffs come down to the season's final games. "I'd be lying if I said we knew we were going to make it," said first baseman Launch Angle. "We did have confidence, but in the back of your mind you always wonder what's going to happen. There were some good teams pushing us." Now the Scorpions don't have to worry, as they are in position to potentially win the 11th Pro Baseball Experience championship in franchise history. |
