Pitcher of the Year Award Presented to Providence Star Sunday, October 24th , 2077 The Providence Crabs have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Count Crabula, this year's Legends Conference Pitcher of the Year Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Crabula compiled a 14-5 record in 27 starts, tallied 200 strikeouts in 182.1 innings and recorded a 2.37 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .209 batting average against him. Joe Random of the Providence Crabs finished second in voting, while Crabby Pebbles of the Providence Crabs finished third. |
