Champions Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award
Sunday, October 24th , 2077
The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the Champions Conference reliever who put forward the strongest season.
This season, that player was Takeda Takahashi of the New Orleans Rougarous, who was above all his peers in 2077.
"I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year."
On the season, Takahashi pitched 68.1 innings, with 67 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.37. He also had 7 saves in 44 relief appearances.
Kip Treadwell of the Seattle Sea Serpents finished second in voting, while Shota Takahashi of the Nashville Stars finished third.
