New Orleans Catcher Voted Best Champions Rookie Sunday, October 24th , 2077 2077 was an impressive year for New Orleans catcher Tater MacCheesy and it was capped off today with the announcement that he has been named the winner of the Champions Conference Rookie of the Year Award. MacCheesy compiled a .279 batting average and a .297 on-base percentage this season. In 108 games he piled up 116 hits, 16 home runs, 58 RBIs and 45 runs scored. Videl Valor III of the Nashville Stars finished second in voting, while Spencer Bearer of the Detroit Demons finished third. |
