Usada Pekora Makes PBE Hall Of Fame Wednesday, January 5th , 2078 Today, Usada Pekora attained the highest honor a player can get in the Pro Baseball Experience -- he was admitted to its Hall of Fame. His exploits on the mound are legendary. Year after year Pekora was one of the league's elite pitchers with 112 total wins. Baseball greats of the past and present were in attendance at this year's ceremony. Friend and foe alike had nothing but good things to say about this year's honoree. A manager who Pekora played for described his pitching success this way: "Usada always had good stuff and good location. His ball would start out looking like a baseball and when it got to the plate -- it looked like a marble." When he retired from baseball at age 35 with a career 112-86 won-lost mark, Pekora had pitched in 503 games, fanned 1941 batters, tossed 1790.2 innings and posted an impressive 3.83 ERA. |
