Great Week for New Orleans's Chorizo McTater Monday, May 23rd , 2078 New Orleans fans have something to crow about today as New Orleans designated hitter Chorizo McTater nabbed the Champions Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said McTater. He posted a .520 average (13-for-25) this past week with 1 home run, 4 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. In 25 games this season, McTater has compiled a .278 batting average with 30 hits and 4 home runs. He has also scored 12 times and knocked in 12 runs. |
