Traveler Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, July 31st , 2078 Grayle Traveler of the Providence Crabs extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 2 hits in today's 6-4 triumph over the Toronto Pathfinders at The Lodge. "Grayle has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Crabs manager joked after the game. Grayle Traveler walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This year, Traveler is hitting .383 with 7 home runs and 48 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .436 clip and scored 53 runs. |
