20-Game Hitting Streak for Zalewski Sunday, July 31st , 2078 Paulo Zalewski's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-5 in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Toronto Pathfinders at The Lodge. The 29-year-old third baseman has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Crabs. Paulo Zalewski singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. So far this season, Zalewski has recorded a .278 batting average with 87 hits, 17 home runs, 48 RBIs, 72 runs scored and a .340 OBP. |
