San Antonio Stops Traveler Hit Streak Friday, August 12th , 2078 The 28-game hitting streak is over. Providence Crabs left fielder Grayle Traveler failed to get a hit against the San Antonio Sloths and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 28-year-old went 0-for-3 in his club's 11-2 victory over the Sloths at The Pot. "I think I only made it to 28 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." Traveler is currently hitting .382 with 10 home runsand 54 RBIs, while scoring 61 runs. |
