Toros Are Champs of Champions Conference West Monday, August 29th , 2078 Victor Cortez said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Cancun Toros teammates were so excited to celebrate their Champions Conference West championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 62-32 record on the season. It is the club's 12th Champions Conference West championship and puts them in position for their 6th Pro Baseball Experience championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," the team's skipper said, pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
