Legends Conference Announces #1 Player Monday, September 12th , 2078 Not every ball that came off Julio Ruiz Jr.'s bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Outer Banks Aviators. For his exploits, Ruiz Jr. was named this week's Legends Conference Player of the Week award. The Outer Banks third baseman put up 10 hits in 24 at-bats and 3 home runs while hitting .417 with 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In 105 games this season, Ruiz Jr. is batting .308 with 131 hits and 27 home runs. He has scored 75 runs and driven in 87. |
