Indianapolis Takes Divisional Series Friday, September 23rd , 2078 The joy and relief on the faces of the Indianapolis Apex players was obvious as they celebrated their Divisional Series win over the Nashville Stars. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Indianapolis center fielder Esteban Santos Garcia, shortly after the 7-4 win that clinched the series 3-2. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the Conference Finals. Santos Garcia won series MVP honors on the strength of his .438 batting average during the series. He also had a .500 on-base percentage and 2 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Conference Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
