Eshenbaugh Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Sunday, May 28th , 2079 Patrick Eshenbaugh of the Outer Banks Aviators tagged 1 hit in today's 9-8 loss to the Providence Crabs at The Island to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Patrick Eshenbaugh flied out in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. In his season totals Eshenbaugh has 5 home runs and a .376 batting average. |
