Hitting Streak Still Alive for Lincoln-Mercury Tuesday, July 11th , 2079 Ford Lincoln-Mercury of the Nashville Stars tagged 1 hit in today's 5-2 loss to the Detroit Demons at Gibson Soundstage to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Ford Lincoln-Mercury grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Lincoln-Mercury is currently hitting at a .306 pace with 12 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
