Champions Player of the Week Named Monday, July 31st , 2079 It was an extraordinary week for Zen Bobrist of the Detroit Demons. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .500, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Champions Conference. Last week Bobrist went 11-for-22, racked up 1 home run and 5 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Detroit second baseman. This year, Bobrist has collected a .274 batting average to date with 84 hits in 307 at-bats, 48 RBIs, 10 home runs and scored 39 times. He has played in 72 games. |
