Champions's Top Player, MacCheesy of New Orleans Monday, August 28th , 2079 26-year-old Tater MacCheesy sent shock waves through Pro Baseball Experience last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Champions Conference Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, MacCheesy made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .632 average, 12 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 runs batted in. Where the New Orleans Rougarous catcher goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but MacCheesy certainly made his mark last week. Thus far this year, MacCheesy has hit .323 with 14 home runs and 61 RBIs. |
