Thrice Is Nice: Fernandez Jr. Unloads 3 Homers Tuesday, August 29th , 2079 It was a terrific day for Dee Fernandez Jr., who ripped three home runs at The Power House, and a disappointing one for the Indianapolis Apex who, nevertheless, dropped the game, 15-13, to the Buffalo Surge. "He was instant offense," Indianapolis skipper said. "Dee really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, Fernandez Jr. collected 4 hits in 7 at-bats, scored 4 runs and had 7 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at The Power House. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he said.
