Providence Crabs Win Top Spot in Legends Conference East Friday, September 1st , 2079 While it seemed a foregone conclusion for quite some time, today it became official: the Providence Crabs are champions of the Legends Conference East. The club has been rolling well ahead of the pack with a 68-29 record and have now officially qualified for the postseason. "It's a good feeling to know you can't be caught," said starting pitcher Count Crabula. "Now we can focus on getting ourselves ready to win a World Series." The club's division title was their 18th and they will be attempting to win the franchise's 3rd title. According to the team's manager, "I think we've got as good a chance as any team in Pro Baseball Experience." |
