Tater MacCheesy Claims 2079 Champions Batting Title Saturday, September 16th , 2079 The Champions Conference batting race ended with New Orleans's Tater MacCheesy on top with a .317 average. The Rougarous catcher was officially named the winner today. For the season he totaled 131 hits, 14 home runs with 65 RBIs and 61 runs scored. At the award ceremony MacCheesy told reporters the key to his hitting success this season. "I stayed focused and tried to get a hit in every at-bat." |
