Legends's Top Rookie Chosen Sunday, October 22nd , 2079 Today the Legends Conference announced the winner of the 2079 Rookie of the Year Award. The top-ranked rookie was the talented New York catcher Roman Nickalus. The 23-year-old Voyagers newcomer took the trophy by hitting .285 in 108 games this season and finished with 111 hits, 9 home runs, 54 RBIs and 42 runs scored. Sweet Sweet Ganjasmoke of the Toronto Pathfinders finished second in voting, while David Sears of the Buffalo Surge finished third. |
