Johnny Patey V2 Inducted into Hall Of Fame
Wednesday, January 3rd , 2080
Today, one of the legendary kings of the hill received his due recognition. Johnny Patey V2 was enshrined into the Pro Baseball Experience Hall of Fame. One of the most fearsome hurlers to ever take the mound, Patey V2 earned this coveted honor by dominating hitters with a 142-81 record over a 385-game career. In 1980.2 innings he fanned 2058 batters, walked 665 and compiled a fine 3.44 ERA. Patey V2 retired at the age of 35.
"My teammates did a lot for me over the course of my career and I wouldn't be here without their help," Patey V2 said as he stood before the large crowd of fans and diamond legends. "It's easy to rack up as many wins as I did when your teammates play such great defense and score as many runs as mine did. But in turn, when they weren't having a great day, I knew I had to return the favor and that's why we were all so successful. We played for each other."
