Hitting Streak Still Alive for Slow Monday, April 29th , 2080 The number just keeps getting higher. Outer Banks center fielder Bazooka Slow has now extended his hitting string to 25 games. He did it today with 3 hits in 5 at-bats as the Outer Banks won the game, 5-1, over the Detroit Demons at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Detroit manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Bazooka Slow doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year, Slow is batting .395 with no home runs and 4 RBIs. |
