Ruiz Jr. of Outer Banks Crowned Best Player Monday, May 6th , 2080 Not every ball that came off Julio Ruiz Jr.'s bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Outer Banks Aviators. For his exploits, Ruiz Jr. was named this week's Legends Conference Player of the Week award. The Outer Banks third baseman put up 6 hits in 15 at-bats and 5 home runs while hitting .400 with 14 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
