Stelle Goes Yard 3 Times Sunday, June 23rd , 2080 Stelle was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 11-10 Death Valley Scorpions triumph at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. The 28-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Scorpions past the Lunar Base Space Rangers. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Stelle told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The left fielder went 3-for-4, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day. Stelle hit a two-run home run off Ryan Express in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ryan Express in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Scud Muffin in the 9th. For the year, Stelle is batting .241 with 13 home runs. |
