Meredith Week's Best Player Monday, August 5th , 2080 Cancun fans have something to crow about today as Cancun right fielder Myles Meredith nabbed the Champions Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Meredith. He posted a .450 average (9-for-20) this past week with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. This season, Meredith is batting .259 with 80 hits, 8 home runs, 46 RBIs, .317 OBP and has scored 49 runs. |
