Champions Conference West Won: Cancun Crowned Friday, September 6th , 2080 Could a championship parade soon be in the future for the Cancun Toros? The team certainly hopes so, tonight having taken a big first step, by winning the Champions Conference West. "We want to give the fans in Cancun something to celebrate. This is a start, but we have much more planned," said catcher Carlton Beaty. "There's a passion for baseball in our city and we want to reward the fans who have stuck by us." The team's division-leading record sits at 60-40. It is the 14th Champions Conference West crown in franchise history and the Toros will be seeking their 6th Pro Baseball Experience championship. |
