Heeler Plays Way to Rookie of the Year Honor Friday, October 17th , 2070 When Bandit Heeler stepped onto the baseball field, he meant business. His solid play this year has netted the Seattle rookie catcher the Champions Conference Rookie of the Year Award for 2070. Playing in 108 games, he hit for a .258 average with 110 hits, 17 home runs, 54 RBIs and 59 runs scored. Kanutake MeHire of the Seattle Sea Serpents finished second in voting, while Michael Dion II of the Cancun Toros finished third. |
