Sarasota Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Thursday, August 11th , 2044 Fans of the Sarasota Supernovas have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Supernovas have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 19 years as a Pro Baseball Experience franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2041. In the last 10 seasons, the Supernovas have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
