Pathfinders End Harper's Streak Friday, July 24th , 2071 The Outer Banks Aviators lost to the Toronto Pathfinders 10-5 today at The Lodge, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Arya Harper's 21-game hitting streak. The shortstop went 0-for-5 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Harper, we would win the game," Pathfinders manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." Currently Harper has 7 home runs and a .296 batting average. |
