Hayden Andrews Jr. Drills 3 HR in One Game
Friday, July 24th , 2071
It was a good day for the Nashville Stars and an exceptional one for Hayden Andrews Jr.. The 31-year-old right fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Stars beat the Cancun Toros 9-4 at El Coliseo de los Toros.
"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Andrews Jr. said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."
For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 5 runs and smacked 3 hits in 4 at-bats.
Hayden Andrews Jr. grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ryan Lee in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ryan Lee in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Guess Who in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
For the year Andrews Jr. is batting .299 with 12 home runs.
