Buckshank Hits for Cycle Against Boise
Saturday, August 22nd , 2071
At The Power House today, Razmataz Buckshank led Buffalo to a 11-3 victory over the Boise Raptors by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats.
"Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Buckshank said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases."
In addition to going 4-for-5, Buckshank chalked up 4 RBI and scored 2 runs in an exceptional performance.
Razmataz Buckshank hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Chappy McChapperson in the 8th.
This season Buckshank has hit at a .251 clip and produced 40 RBI, 6 home runs and 39 runs.
