State College Swift Steeds Sold to John Vaughan Thursday, October 15th , 2071 The deal is done and the fans are overjoyed. The State College Swift Steeds will have a new owner soon and the fans are glad he is one of them. He's John Vaughan, a popular local civic leader and businessman. Vaughan has bought the club from Pete Layne and will take over as soon as he gets approval by the MiLPBE owners. Last season the State College Swift Steeds came in second in the East Division with a 62-46 record. As far as attitude and character, sources close to Vaughan told reporters off-the-record that he was quite controlling in financial areas and tolerant in character and temperament. |
