State College Win Semi-FInals Wednesday, October 2nd , 2058 The State College Swift Steeds took time to celebrate with the State College fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's Semi-FInals triumph over the Amarillo Armadillos. Members of the Swift Steeds hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the State College fans in attendance at Ballpark of Meeker, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 3-2 win to seal the series 4-2. "We've got great fan support," said left fielder Yoshi Yoshironi. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Amarillo fans that were there even congratulated us on the win." For the series, Yoshironi hit .385 with a .414 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 4 runs. Things weren't so cordial on the Armadillos side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season.
