Star of the Week Selected in MiLPBE Monday, August 2nd , 2066 So far in his young career, Xicoyotl Montalbán has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Minor League PBE in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Brew City Bears left fielder hit at a torrid .588 clip as he collected 10 hits in 17 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Montalbán has a .329 average and a .397 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 98 hits, 15 home runs and driven in 57 runs. |
