Bobrist Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Friday, May 27th , 2067 Anchorage left fielder Zen Bobrist has extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with a 2-for-4 day. However, the California Firehawks took the 6-4 victory over the Wheelers at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. "Disappointing," Bobrist said of the outcome. Zen Bobrist singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this season Bobrist has hit .347 with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 15 times. |
