Lemurs End Bobrist's Streak
Tuesday, May 31st , 2067
It was a doubly miserable day today for Zen Bobrist of the Anchorage Wheelers, as he saw his 22-game hitting streak end and his team lose 4-3 to the Louisville Lemurs at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. The 21-year-old left fielder was held hitless in 3 at-bats by the Lemurs.
"Anyone on a 22-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Louisville manager said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done."
Bobrist is batting at a .351 pace this season, picking up 46 hits in 131 at-bats with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
