This promising rookie left fielder for Kansas City garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .609 (14-for-23) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs last week. This year Thompson is batting .378 with 4 home runs. |
