Puerto Rico Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Thursday, August 10th , 2073 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Puerto Rico Ranas this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Ranas have made the playoffs 15 times in their 45 years as a Minor League PBE franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 20th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2053. Puerto Rico last won the World Series in 2050. |
