Dog Wins MiLPBE Honor Monday, August 14th , 2073 When it came to hitting the baseball, Mortimer Dog was in a class by himself in the Minor League PBE this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding second baseman for Amarillo tagged opposing pitchers for a .455 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 homers, 6 runs scored and 9 RBIs. So far this year, Dog has hit .329 with 11 home runs, 72 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
