Honcho Selected Top Performer in MiLPBE Monday, May 14th , 2068 Brew City fans have something to crow about today as Brew City third baseman Mike Honcho nabbed the Minor League PBE Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Honcho. He posted a .450 average (9-for-20) this past week with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. This year Honcho is batting .294 with 4 home runs and 17 RBIs. In 18 games he has scored 9 times. |
