Santos Garcia Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Tuesday, July 31st , 2074 Esteban Santos Garcia ran his hitting streak to 25 straight games at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Florida Flamingos dropped the game, 7-1, to the Chicago Kingpins. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Santos Garcia said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Esteban Santos Garcia flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. So far this season, Santos Garcia has hit .353 with 23 home runs, 83 RBIs and scored 56 times. |
