Chicago Defeats Brew City
Thursday, October 11th , 2074
The Chicago Kingpins were good enough to get past the Brew City Bears at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium today and secure the 3rd championship in franchise history.
"When you wear Kingpins on your shirt, you're good at something," Chicago skipper told the press.
Kingpins first baseman JD Pants was named MVP of the series after he went .381 with 2 home runs and 3 RBI.
"It feels totally incredible," Pants said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."
The new champions capped off a great season with a 6-1 victory over the Bears to win the World Series 4-1.
