Minor League PBE Selects #1 Starter in July Thursday, August 1st , 2075 In July, when the name of Mac N Cheese appeared on the Anchorage lineup card it was a virtual lock on a victory. He started 5 times and chalked up 4 wins and 1 loss. With those stats it was also a virtual lock that he would be named the Minor League PBE Pitcher of the Month. Cheese shackled opposing batters on 29 base hits and a .218 batting average. He rang up 21 strikeouts in 36 innings of work, surrendered 14 walks and fashioned a sparkling 3.00 ERA. To date this year, Cheese has compiled a 6-7 mark with a 4.02 ERA in 18 starts. |
