Multi-Pitch Shuts Out Kansas City Friday, August 16th , 2075 The Kansas City Hepcats were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the California Firehawks and hurler LeeLoo Dallas Multi-Pitch. Multi-Pitch kept the Hepcats confused all game, spinning a 1-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Multi-Pitch," Kansas City manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old left-hander had no walks and 8 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Multi-Pitch said.
