Postseason Bid Ends for State College Saturday, September 7th , 2069 It's not quite the championship run that fans in State College might have envisioned. The State College Swift Steeds were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in Minor League PBE and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Swift Steeds manager . State College last appeared in the postseason in 2067. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 27 times in their 49 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Swift Steeds have made the playoffs 4 times. State College last won the World Series in 2058. |
