Kingpins Won't Get Playoff Berth Saturday, September 7th , 2069 Fans in Chicago may been holding onto a glimmer of hope, but that has now been officially snuffed out -- the Kingpins were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. "It's a tough day for everyone in the Chicago Kingpins organization," owner Tim Easter told reporters. "We will just have to come back stronger." This is the club's 6th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2063.In total, the Kingpins have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 37-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Kingpins have made the playoffs 6 times. Chicago has won the World Series 2 times in their history. |
