Armadillos Move on to Semi-FInals Saturday, September 21st , 2075 The First Round didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game. But the Amarillo Armadillos are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the State College Swift Steeds 3-1 to advance to the Semi-FInals. "It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Armadillos left fielder Ben Martin. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire." Amarillo won the final game by a score of 7-4 at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. Martin was named series MVP after hitting .400 with a .400 on-base percentage.
