Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Sahur Tuesday, July 7th , 2076 Win or lose, Tung Tung Tung Sahur just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Florida Flamingos right fielder went 1-for-4, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated, 4-3, by the Brew City Bears at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Tung Tung Tung Sahur struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year in 55 games, Sahur is hitting .329 with 13 home runs, 33 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
